Dr. Samantha Thomas is a native of Carl Junction, Missouri and graduated from Carl Junction High School in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Pittsburg State University in 2015 and continued on to the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2019. While at UMKC, she was one of seven students selected to be in the oral surgery honors program, which allowed her to develop more oral surgery skills. Upon graduating Dr. Thomas was recognized for her work in the pediatric dental department and was awarded the predoctoral student award: The Certificate of Merit from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Thomas has wanted to be a dentist for as long as she can remember and can’t imagine doing anything else. She says it is a dream come true to be able to practice dentistry in the communities that raised her! She loves interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. Thomas especially enjoys working with children and people with special needs.
Dr. Thomas lives in her hometown and has an Australian shepherd puppy named Copper. She likes spending time outdoors and being active. In her free time, Dr. Thomas loves to refinish furniture, do crafts, and spend time in the kitchen cooking
