MEET DR. HERRON
Rob Herron DDS
Dr. Robert Herron is passionate about helping people feel better and look better through high-quality dental care. Whether to alleviate pain or allow a patient to be proud of his or her smile, all aspects of patient care are important to the doctor. He has been proudly serving the SEK area for 34 years and he looks forward to many more years of building relationships with and beautiful smiles for everyone he meets.
Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Herron is a native of Columbus, and graduated from Columbus Unified High School in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Pittsburg State University in 1985 and continued on to Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989. Since completing his formal education, Dr. Herron has continued his studies through a mini-residency at the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain as well as by attending seminars and training with Invisalign® and CEREC®.

Outside the Office
Dr. Herron’s wife Lori has been a registered nurse for 34 years and currently works at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He has a married daughter, Andrea, who lives in Neodesha, KS with her husband Ty and two children, Kendall and Brett. Dr. Herron’s son Kurt is completing his medical residency program in Arizona. His youngest daughter Liesl is married to Brad. They reside in Carl Junction, MO with their two children, Brooks and Margo.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Herron enjoys spending time with his family as well as raising small animals and gardening. When it comes to being active in the community, he is involved as a lead triage dentist for the Kansas Mission of Mercy project and is proud supporter of all things PSU!
